A New Bundle of Joy

Before they knew it, Collette and Corbin had a new bundle of joy, a daughter named Adelle. Collette was overjoyed and loved the business of raising her three children.
Ian and Sydney developed a close relationship early on, playing side by side as toddlers, and learning the same toddler skills. As they transitioned into children, their similar appearances were even more noticeable. When she looked at her beautiful twins, Collette could see Corbin in their faces, as well as herself.
Adelle grew just as quickly as the twins, and too soon, Collette realized they had lost their babies and gained three beautiful children. Adelle had a more difficult time of childhood than did Ian and Sydney, as she often felt left out by the twin's constant, strong bond. Collette tried to comfort her youngest child, often playing with her or taking her to the park for some Mom and Adelle time.
During this same time, the family began to notice new interests and desires, revolving around their individual hobby preferences. Collette discovered a love for tinkering with things, from the television to the broken down car she refurbished with Ian. Corbin spent his time in the pursuit of musical excellence, and loved to break out the violin for the family after dinner. Sydney had always loved to have fun and felt pulled towards gaming. She showed a specific interest in card games, which her father loved to indulge. Ian took after his mother in her love of tinkering and loved working on the old car with her for hours. Little Adelle, never one to be left out, also showed an early interest in tinkering, displaying her skill with the building blocks on her toy table. The family leaped into this new use for their time with abandon, and everyone became good at more than one specific thing.
A few months before the twins became teenagers, Collette and Corbin realized their small two bedroom house had become way too small for the growing family. Collette wanted to be sure that each child had their privacy and plenty of room to grow. Corbin soon found a beautiful home in Redwood Acres, a new housing development, that had three spacious bedrooms and two full baths, as well as a large living area and airy kitchen and dinning room. The family moved as soon as Collette could arrange a day off of work.
The twins grew up soon after the move, and began to think about what they wanted out of life. Sydney decided to follow in her fathers footsteps, and pursue knowledge, with a lifetime desire of reaching the top of the SCIA. Ian on the other hand decided he wanted to make money and provide for his family, showing a strong interest in fortune. He decided his life goal was to make his money by being an entertainer, the very best entertainer he could be!
Not long after, it was time for Adelle to grow up. Corbin and Collette looked on with misty eyes as their youngest grew up. Adelle took after her mother and decided to put family first in her life, with the ultimate goal of successfully raising three children and watching them graduate from university.
The teenage years were upon them and rapidly coming to a close before Collette realized it was time to send her babies off to college. She cried of course as the three of them left together. She was thankful however for all of the work they had done to gain scholarships, and took that particular burden off of herself and Corbin.
The house was empty and the days grew longer as she and Corbin waited for the children to return home for breaks.

Starting the Legacy

Collette returned home from her travels a new woman with renewed purpose and meaning. She was ready to begin her personal mission of creating a strong, close-knit family that would continue long after she was gone. She was excited that Corbin would join her in this mission and had similar goals that she did. She and Corbin went out to dinner to celebrate their future, and while there, Corbin proposed to Collette. Although it came as no surprise, the pair were still overjoyed, and rushed home to tell Collette's grandmother Zoe. Tears of joy shone in Zoe's eyes as she welcomed Corbin to the family.
Not long after, the Corbin became Corbin Bristol in a small backyard ceremony with Zoe and a few close family friends. Collette had booked a honeymoon to the Far East as a wedding present for Corbin, giving them the opportunity to return to the land where they met, and also where Corbin was from.
After returning home from the honeymoon, Collette and Corbin got down to the serious business of life. Collette quickly moved up the ranks of the Education Career, using her College Degree as leverage. She garnered promotion after promotion and easily reached the top, becoming the Eductation Minister for all of Redwood!
Unfortunately, as often is the case, tragedy follows joy. The day after Collette was given her new position, Zoe was called to the greater beyond.
Collette's grief was relieved only when she found out that she was pregnant. She knew her grandmother had believed in her plans to establish their family in Redwood, and having children was the main way to accomplish that. Besides, family had always been the most important thing to Collette, and her mother.
Nine long months later, Collette went into labor and gave birth to twins! Collette chose the name Sydney for the girl, and Corbin named their son Ian.
Life continued for the Bristol's, and Corbin became increasingly successful at his Journalism job, providing essential support for the family while Collette was on maternity leave from her job. Too soon, the twins were celebrating their birthday's and becoming toddlers. Interestingly enough, on their birthday, Collette and Corbin found out they were expecting again! Secretly, Collette hoped they weren't having twins again. She had decided that she wanted the family to be carried on by girls, since that was how it had been from the start. Collette decided that if the new baby was a little girl, it would take the pressure off Sydney in case she wanted to do something else with her life. All in all, she thought this new baby was a good thing. Despite the positive thinking, Corbin and Collette took measures to make sure this was their last pregnancy.

New Life, New Town

Collette Bristol had a traumatic start to her life in Redwood. She moved here with her mother and grandmother, to start a new life, away from her mother's abusive boyfriend and Collette's father. Unfortunately it seemed as though they hadn't traveled far enough. One sunny afternoon, not long after they all moved into the cute 2 bedroom house on Tinkleberry Lane, Collette's mother Anne Bristol was checking the mail before heading off to work when a car struck and killed her. Anne's mother Zoe was left to care for Anne's young daughter alone. Zoe and Collette later learned that it was Collette's father, Todd who was driving the car that killed Anne Bristol. An orphan, Collette remained in her grandmother's care, vowing to carry on her family's name to spite her late father's attempts.
Collette grew into a beautiful young teenager and flourished under her grandmother's care. Zoe however struggled to provide for the two of them and was always worried that her time with Collette was short. She taught Collette as much as she could and tried to provide a stable home for them. Collette was aware of her grandmother's shortening life span and decided to apply for early admittance to the local Redwood Forrest University. There she decided to major in Psychology because she wanted to become a teacher. Collette was always waiting for a call from home, informing her of Zoe's death. Fortunately the call never came, and Collette graduated early with honors.
After returning home, Collette decided to fulfill her desire to travel and took a lengthy trip, stopping first in the Mountains, then in the Far East. She enjoyed her travels immensely, but favored her time in the Far East. Here she learned all of the local customs and trends, and even met her future husband. She met Corbin Lostlar at the local market and they immediately struck up a friendship. Soon after, they realized they had something more. With three bolts of attraction for each other, they knew it was true love. They made plans for reuniting after Collette returned home to Redwood.
